Europe offers excellent opportunities in international real estate. London, Monaco, Paris and Geneva continue to command some of the high price markets, due to the growing presence of the international buyers. The European Central Bank has kept the interest rates low creating amplified availability of cheap debts. The rise in housing prices is considered to be a first-rate option, especially, in the conditions, of low-interest rate environment, that is expected to persist for some time. 

Even though ECB is unlikely to change, the rate cannot stay the same for long, whereas, the real estate opportunities are, basically, long-term investments. Interest rate is not the only reason for investing in a property in the continent. A number of Southern European countries implemented tax breaks and offered incentives for wealthy buyers, which is expected to create a strong impact on the markets.

In Europe, the markets in Spain and Portugal offer attractive opportunities, as these are the areas still recovering from the crash of 2008. London continues to prove to be the financial centre offering lucrative opportunities to the buyers. In the UK, the investors are buying due to the lowering British pound rates and improved availability of attractive properties in some of the prime locations. Some key regions in the UK offer properties at a lower price as the price of high-end luxury homes has fallen in the last few years over Brexit.
